DEI Project.

For this project, I was tasked with creating my own brief. A detailed and thoughtful design brief will lead to a successful end product—whether it’s a graphic piece, motion graphics or entire advertising campaign. Your final product will need to be based on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

I decided to use Tim Hortons as a basis for this project, as Tim Hortons is a well-known place with much diversity and is hiring. It's also an advocate for equal sports, specifically hockey, as its creator/founder was a hockey player.

Excerpts From Original Draft Brief.

Objective: Tim Hortons will spotlight specific & special customers in order to show people that anyone can be the “Regular customer” And to break stigma around a specific by sending in ads commercials that highlights peoples stories by puttting our commercials and poster ads

DEI Statement: this campaign focuses on highlighting the many people who enter Tim Hortons everyday and highlighting that regardless of background, identity, or circumstance. Diversity strengthens our communities, equity creates fairness, and inclusion means treating people with dignity, every day.
